Learning about social media is actually much harder than I thought. Maybe harder isn't the right word.. but there is definitely more to it than I would have ever imagined. My first thought about Twitter and Facebook was, "Psh.. this stuff is easy. That's what I was born to do. Paa-lease." Now I'm re-thinking a thought more like, "Wait..what's that?" I feel like I've been smacked with the dumb stick to remind me (as usual) that I don't know everything and I'm a total noob. For those of you who don't know what a noob is, it's a "newbie." Yeah, I learned that from a bunch of teenage Halo nerds.
Yesterday I started diving into the world of
Twitter. I've had a
Twitter account for a bit but I've never fully understood all you can do with it. Now I know you can create special lists and have Twitter chats and all these crazy interactive conversations! No wonder people and companies LOVE Twitter. I am still amazed at how lame I sound. Go ahead and throw me in the category with the senior citizens who are just learning how to turn on a computer. That's an accurate depiction of how I feel.
My siblings all have twitter and love it. They all say facebook is so out of date now... Haha it makes me feel like a grandma because I don't know how to use twitter! I'm so proud of you for figuring it out :)
